Drew Miller, MA, LPC Licensed Professional Counselor

Drew MillerLicensed Professional Counselor

My specialty is Buddhist psychology and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. In plain language, this means learning to investigate the patterns of the mind — the thoughts, emotions, memories, and relationship habits that shape how you experience life — with more clarity, compassion, and choice.

My goal is to help you find freedom, peace and ease within the changes of your life. Through mindfulness-based work, we develop what could be called mindful lucidity: the ability to see old patterns as they arise, understand them through direct experience, and respond with more freedom instead of automatic reaction.

I draw from Buddhist psychology, MBCT, ACT, transpersonal psychology, existential psychology, humanistic/person-centered therapy, gestalt therapy, and trauma-informed care. I am also trained in clinical heart-centered hypnotherapy, available by request when clinically appropriate. I have worked in the counseling field since 2000, supporting adults, adolescents, couples, and families with anxiety, trauma, depression, addictions, grief/loss, relationship concerns, and life transitions.
